The main claim to fame of the 2021 Freams is the Zaion V body. This material is super tough and rigid while being significantly lighter than previous materials. This gives excellent feel and sensitivity without sacrificing strength. Another prime feature is Magseal where magnetised oil virtually eliminates water getting into the body of the reel giving a greatly increased life and ultra smooth operation.

Along with this there is a tough Digigear design and LT features to make a high performance reel at the price. Daiwa’s ATD Drag produces smooth & consistent drag performance and the LC ABS spool & Airbail architecture means longer casts and less line trouble.
