McLean Angling is a privately owned company located in New Zealand, specialising in the manufacture of landing nets.

We began making nets in 1987, when we invented the worlds first catch and release Weigh Net. Since then our range of nets has expanded to include many different styles from small brook trout to large salmon which are sold and used all around the world.

All manufacturing is undertaken in New Zealand where we focus on quality, durability and accuracy. McLean Weigh Nets are individually calibrated to guarantee accuracy to within 2oz/ 60g. Using only high grade materials, strict quality controls, and hand made components, means all our nets are tough and functional to ensure long-lasting service for the beginner and experienced angler or professional guide.
