Sinker Revolution! - The Drop Sinker

Sinker Revolution! - The Drop Sinker

Introducing the Stalker Tackle Slip Sinker.

Slim shape helps reduce the chance of snagging and the line grip swivel allows the sinker to slide off the line if it does get snagged, so you lose the sinker and nothing else, meaning no down time re-tying rigs just attach another weight and you are away. The swivel design also allows quick changes of weight with no knot tying.

Rigging to use these weights can be as simple or complicated as you want to make it. A simple surgeons loop cut  to make a long leader with a short dropper to put the sinker on for rolling eggs or a shrimp. Or using a swivel or microring to make rigs for rolling eggs. Also possible is using the dropshot technique with the hook on the mainline using a Palomar knot with the weight on the end of the line is what they are designed for. The only essential is to leave a short (or long) drop-per to attach the weight. These swivels work best with line from about .22mm up but if a thinner line is needed then tying a simple overhand knot at the end of the dropper makes it harder for the weight to slide off so lighter line can be utilised.
