I have worn neoprene wet socks for years and am a dedicated long distance walker over sometimes very rough riverbeds. These are fantastically comfortable to wear. Firstly they give you warmth, with neoprene being a natural insulator against the cold so that early morning coolness is no problem. If you wet wade they warm the water trapped inside and make river crossing a pleasure.

Another great feature is that they act to cushion your feet over the rough terrain often found out fishing making your day less tiring.
