'Dropshotting' is basically a technique used in the USA for catching spawning bass over their spawning site. A soft plastic type lure is repeatedly dropped and lifted over the site until the Bass comes screaming in to get rid of it. The takes are usually detected on 'the drop' so very soft, sensitive tips are required. But then a super tough butt section is required to stop the fish running into a the near by snags. These rods have been snapped up by nearly all other types of fisherman too because the action is perfect for so many other applications.

This little 3-5kg version is brilliant for light tackle Snapper and saltwater fishing but also great for spinning and especially trolling for trout. It has a specially designed short butt section to allow for much better lure twitching and erratic retrieves.
